About Our Pastor

Alfred B. Davis became pastor of the Bible Baptist Church in August 1997. Prior to that Bro. Davis and his wife, Kimberly, served as missionaries in the Samoan Islands. While there the Lord used them to plant the Grace Baptist Church in American Samoa, now known as Vai O Le Ola Baptist Church.

Pastor Davis grew up in Richfield and graduated from Revere High School in 1978. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Wildlife Biology, with a minor in Botany, from Colorado State University in 1982 and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1983 to 1987.

While stationed at RAF Chicksands in England, Pastor Davis became involved with a missions work where he surrendered to God's call to preach the gospel. After leaving the Air Force, he became the Associate Pastor of the Bible Baptist Church in 1988 and completed his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Bible through Heritage Baptist University in 1990.

In addition to pastoring the Richfield Bible Baptist Church, he also hosts Live with Pastor Al a live, call-in, radio program featuring commentary, occasional guests, and live, on-air, questions about the Bible and current events in Light of God's Word. The program can be heard each Sunday night from 10:00 AM to Midnight and each Friday afternoon from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM on 1220 WHKW.

Pastor Davis also has written a number of articles on a variety of Bible topics, issues, and questions. You can find them at Pastoral Guidance Suggested.
