Bro. Alfred B. Davis became pastor of the Bible Baptist Church in August 1997. Prior to becoming pastor Bro. Davis and his wife, Kimberly, served as missionaries in the Samoan Islands. While there the Lord used them to plant the Grace Baptist Church in American Samoa, now known as Vai O Le Ola Baptist Church.       Pastor Davis grew up in Richfield and graduated from Revere High School in 1978. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Wildlife Biology, with a minor in Botany, from Colorado State University in 1982 and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1983 to 1987.       While stationed in England, Pastor Davis became involved with a missions work where he surrendered to God's call to preach the gospel. After leaving the Air Force, he became the Associate Pastor of the Bible Baptist Church in 1988 and completed his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Bible through Heritage Baptist University in 1990.       Mrs. Davis is originally from Florence, Kentucky. She is a registered nurse, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a minor in Bible from Cedarville College in 1986. She has worked in a variety of hospital and nursing home situations, even volunteering her services at the LBJ Tropical Medical Center while in the Samoan Islands. She currently works as an R.N. in a nursing home setting.       Pastor and Mrs. Davis currently reside in Richfield with their daughter, Anna. |
