We consider Missions to be the heartbeat of the local church. While we may not be a “big” church, on a percentage basis we support more missionaries per member than many bigger churches do. Even our
pastor and his wife served as missionaries in the Samoan Islands.
Our missions program is funded by the freewill gifts and offerings of God's people through both faith promise and designated gifts. We also put ten percent of our general fund offerings into the missions fund. After all, if we believe that each individual should be giving tithes and offerings, why not the church as well? Besides, it enables us to do a lot more for missions than a church our size would normally be able to do!
